I attended a FEE seminar and was completely blown away by how interesting economics can be. All of the students were interested in the material and were chatting among themselves saying, " I thought this would be boring but it is really cool". The economic information was presented in a winsome, engaging manner. The dinner table conversations the seminar provoked were priceless. - Sherri R., Jefferson City, Mo.

I just wanted to say thank you so very much for hosting the economic thinking workshop here in Houston. It was simply amazing! After having gone to several debate camps this summer, I can honestly say it's been the best resource I have seen yet... I've started reading William Easterly's "White Man's burden" and have been hard pressed to stop reading it since. - Erika S.

About FEE

For over 50 years, The Foundation for Economic Education (www.fee.org) has taught economic principles and the freedom philosophy to students, teachers, and the general public nationwide through seminars and publications.

Anyone over the age of 18 may apply for a FEE Summer Seminar—whether a full-time or part-time student, a parent, a teacher, or a professional. High school and homeschool students under the age of majority may attend with a parental chaperone. For more information on FEE Summer Seminars, see the FEE website, or send an email to Greg Rehmke (grehmke(at)economicthinking.org).

Other economic education opportunities are also available for homeschool students this summer. The Fund for American Studies, Foundation for Teaching Economics, Acton University, Institute for Humane Studies, FreedomFest, and Institute for Economic Studies-Europe all offer market-oriented seminars for students.
